Dinosaur Valley State Park

By on September 23, 2017

I’ve been in Texas for 10 years now. 7 of those have been without a car (yes, it is possible to live without a car in Dallas!).

Now that we have wheels, we’re on a mission to explore more of this great state. Our first camping trip in Texas was to Dinosaur Valley State Park.

We had a GREAT time and highly recommend it (especially the primitive camp sites!). Just 90 minutes from Dallas, it’s a quick trip to get a way from the city for a bit.

Also, DINOSAUR TRACKS! Super cool to see tons of dinosaur tracks all over the riverbed.

While we had some noisy neighbors the first night and had to fend off some raccoons, we really did have a great two night stay and we’ll definitely be back. Check out the videos and photos below!
